St. Luke’s and the MNA met for their 22nd negotiation session. Discussions centered around MNA’s latest package proposal, which decreased wages by 0.25% to 24%, decreased parental leave to 3 weeks, and decreased the retirement match by 0.5%. St. Luke’s remains extremely concerned about the gap that remains. MNA’s current economic proposals equate to a 17% or $7-8 million increase per year.

Our priorities are patient care and safe staffing. We continue to share our concerns that some of MNA’s remaining proposals make it difficult to staff the hospital and may negatively impact staffing and patient care.

We are working together to schedule the next negotiation session.
