Our 11th negotiating session today was filled with constructive dialogue, which led to a productive day. We started the session by proposing a wage increase of 10% over 3 years. Our previous wage offer was 8.25% over 3 years. We believe 10% over 3 years is consistent with others offers to MNA across the state.

We discussed several other proposals, including retirement, sick leave, education, new hire orientation period, floating, and on call.

Our next session is scheduled for Wednesday, August 10. We are working with MNA to schedule additional dates. We want to continue focusing on proposals and solutions that will enhance staffing and patient safety throughout the hospital.
